  • The Battle of Lexington and Concord

    This battle took place in Massachusetts. It was the first armed conflict. The colonial newspapers used it as propaganda. 95 colonists were wounded and 273 Red coats.

  • Battle of Fort Ticonderoga

    This battle took place at Lake Champlain. Ethan Allen captured the fort and used the cannons to defend Boston later on in the revolution.

  • Battle of Bunker/Breed´s Hill

    This battle took place in Boston on Breed´s Hill. This was the main battle of several that took place during a siege of Boston. 1/6 of all redcoats that died in the revolution died in this battle.

    This battle took place in Pennsylvania. The British took Philadelphia after this victory.

    This battle took place in New York. Burgoyne surrenders 5,800 men. This was a turning point of the American revolution. This Battle convinced the french to help the colonists.

    This battle took place in the western colonies. George Rogers Clark capture British forst, later these forts were used for negotiations after the war.

    This battle took place in South Carolina. The British gained control of the southern colonies with this battle. This was the colonists most major loss.

    This battle took place in Virginia. Cornwallis surrendered to Washington. French and American troops trapped the British on a peninsula.
