Sir Karl Raimund Popper was born July 28, 1902, in Vienna, Austria.
-
This was Popper's first published book. It was later published in English in 1959. The Logic of Scientific Discovery contains Popper's theories on the problem of induction, the criterion of demarcation, and the importance of falsification. Falsificationism was groundbreaking thinking at the time. The falsifiability theory attempted to create a separation between non-scientific theories and pseudo-science.

In Conjectures and Refutations, Popper discusses that there certain things that science may never be able to be true. Science is only the tool that is able to prove things to be wrong. He goes on to say that we should not accept scientific theories as truth. This falls in line with the idea of falsifiability. Conjectures and Refutations: The Growth of Scientific Knowledge.
