    Karl Popper published his first major philosophy of science book back in 1935. The title of the book is "Logik der Forschung." It was later translated into English in 1959. The title for the book in English changed to "The Logic of Scientific Discovery." With this book came the first look into Karl Popper's ideology of Falsification and his explanation of how it works.     Karl Popper started teaching at Canterbury University College in Christchurch, New Zealand in 1937. His work here would eventually lead to his articles that make up "The Poverty of Historicism," in 1957. These articles focused on his analysis of the methodology in social sciences.
