On this day in 1939 Germany pushes forward into Poland to gain some lost land. Adolf Hitler wanted to rule as much land as he possibly could. As soon as Adolf gained control he immediately started setting up security bases. -

Early morning hundreds of japenese planes flew over pearl harbor and attacked. They destroyed over 300 airplanes and about 20 naval vessels. More than 2,400 americans died in thus attack. -

United States and Great Britain both celebrate the defeat of the nazis in europe. The germans surrendered, put there weapons down and gave up. -
Atomic Bomb
On this day the us goverment ordered two atomic bombs to be dropped on the japenese to force their surrender. They dropped one in hiroshima and nagasaki. It brought extreme destruction to everything in its path -
VJ Day
On this day the japenese finally agreed to surrender to the american troops, when american soldiers got back home everyone greeted them with extreme excitement.
