She has recieved a variety of awards for her performances in movies such as, Erin Brokovich, The Pelican Brief, and Pretty Woman ("Julia Roberts"). Despite her busy acting career, Julia has remained a family oriented woman. She has always put her family before acting, showing how campasionate and caring she is. -
Breakthrough
On February 13, 1987. Julia Roberts recieved her first major role on an episode of a hit tv series called Crime Story. The episode was titled The Survivor. Roberts plays a character by the name of Tracey, a teen who was being molested by her adoptive father ("The Survivor"). This apperance marked the start of her sucessful acting career. Pretty Woman
Julia lands a lead role in the movie Pretty Woman alongside co-star Richard Geree. Richard Geree plays a business man in need of an escort for events. He soon meets a young prostitute played by Julia Roberts. She agrees to spend the entire week with him in exchange for a large sum of money. The Pelican Brief
After Pretty Woman, Julia went on to have another sucessful movie, The Pelican Brief. Based on the John Grisham book, Julia played a young college law student who uncoveres a conspiracy involving the death of two Supreme Court Justices and an oil tycoon. She soon finds her life and others around her in danger.The action packed thriller won the ASCAP award for top box office films ("Pelican Brief"). -

Julia Roberts comes back stronger than ever in the movie Erin Brokovich. Roberts plays a jobless single mother who is hired as a legal assistant at the local law firm. While going through paperwork she is suprised to find medical records for a woman living in Hinkley. After visting with the woman, she discovers the ilnesses arent a coincidence but caused by highly contaminated water. Marriage
On July 4, 2002. Julia Roberts married Danny Morder in Taos, New Mexico. The couple later had twins Phinnaeus and Hazel in November of 2004. The couples third child Henry was born in June of 2007 ("Julia Roberts"). They remain together to this day despite rumors of marital issues. -
Eat Pray Love
Julia Roberts puts out a great performance in Eat Pray Love. Julia plays a recently divorced woman eager to travel and find her inner self. The journey takes this woman to Italy for four months, India for 3, and Indonesia for four. Throughout the Journey she finds joy in the food she eats while also finding her spirituality and balance ("Eat Pray Love"). Although the movie did not recieve high reviews, It was in my opinion a very deep movie that required her to get in touch with her emotions. -
Sisters Death
Julia Roberts half sister Nancy Mote commited suicide February 9, 2014. Responders found Nancy dead due to an overdose. She left a sucide note expressing her feelings and sincerity to her Fiance. The note also contained who would receive her belongings. Perhaps the most shocking thing was the section adressed to Julia and her "Siblings".
