Some women start to be concerned that their breasts sagged too much.
Something needed to be made to support the breasts. -
The corset is invented.
There is finally something that supports the breasts so that they don't seg. It can be used as an undergarment or an outer-garment. It is a big fashion statement because at first people think women who wear these are prostitutes. -
The corset is now worn all over Europe and Britain.
People who wear corsets are no longer looked at as prostitites. -

Women start to work outside the house. The corset is too restraining because they are made with whale bone and they are very stiff. -

The bra was patented.
It is a smaller and less restraining version of the corset. It can be mass produced and it is cheaper than a corset. It is good for a woman who works and wants to keep her breasts from sagging at the same time.
