The report date for college soccer was two days after my classmate's funeral. This was the first time away from my family and twin sister.

The death of my aunt Mary was difficult. Not only to witness the grief my mom and her 8 siblings went through but also the unspoken bonds in a family. Mary's death was a beautiful reminder of the impact one person can have in bringing a family together.
