Started my High School Journey
High School was the first the time I attended a public school. The High School I attended was Lyman High School located in Longwood, Florida. -
Applied to the University of North Florida
After exploring several different colleges and universities in the state of Florida, I decided to apply to the University of North Florida. This was the only University that I applied to, and I would have to wait three months (until January 2010) to receive my acceptance letter. -
Graduated from Lyman High School
During my high school career I enrolled in the school's early childhood education program. At the end of program/ high school, I was certified to teach early childhood education in my local community. -
Bright Futures Scholarship
As result of completing the early childhood program, and passing the certification tests, I received the Gold Seal Vocational Bright Futures Scholarship. In addition to this scholarship, I also received the Academic Scholars Bright Futures Scholarship for my SAT and scores, grade point average, and community service. -
Started my Associates of Arts Degree Journey
During my first semester at the University of North Florida, my mother became ill. As result, I left the University of North Florida and returned home. When I returned home, I enrolled at Seminole Community College of Florida, now called Seminole State College of Florida. It was here that I would start my associates of arts degree. -
Graduated from Seminole State College of Florida
This month I would graduate from Seminole State College of Florida with presidents list awards, deans list awards, and an associates of arts degree in psychology and education. -
Started my Bachelors of Science Journey
After graduating from Seminole State College of Florida, I would begin my bachelors of science degree at the University of Central Florida. I began my bachelors of science degree with a declared major in cognitive/ human factors psychology. -
Graduated from the University of Central Florida
I graduated with bachelors degree in psychology with an emphasis in cognitive/ human factors psychology. In addition to this, I graduated with a grade point of average at UCF of 3.8 and overall grade point of average of 3.5 -
Internship at Seminole County Public Schools
In the summer of 2017, I found about the e-pathways department at Seminole County Public Schools and decided to reach out to them. After this, I was invited to interview with e-pathways team and I was offered an internship with the department. This internship solidified my desire to pursue my masters degree in Instructional Design and Technology. -
Started my Masters of Science Journey
After completing my internship with Seminole County Public Schools Epathways Department, I was sure that Instructional Design and technology was what I wanted to pursue. In the Fall of 2017, I enrolled in my first two courses for the Instructional Design and Technology Program at the University of Central Florida.
