Year 1 (Soaking It All in)
As a young graduate, about to start her new life journey, she realized that all that glitter is not gold. There were new technologies never before seen. What do you use for first graders in your first year of teaching? Some of her favorites: BrainPop, YouTube, Snapchat, Pinterest, and SMARTexchange. With a SMARTtv, anything is possible and interactive. -

Journey Through Technology
From year one to year four, technology forever presents itself as a way to keep up with the times. Each student is different and each need is different. Evolving from technology being a teacher tool, it slowly got released to being a true collaborative tool between teacher and student. -
Year 2 (The Switch Up)
After a long journey, full of trials and tribulations, she adventured to a new city with a grade level on the opposite end of the spectrum- 6th Grade! Things were peaceful, the administration was supportive, coworkers actually cared, she was in paradise! She was able to incorporate even more technology! Among these include: various curriculum websites, myOn, Twitter, GoNoodle, Facebook, Instagram, Flocabulary, ReadWorks, Compass Learning,and News ELA. More technoolgy=Greater success! -
Year 3 (Reeling It In)
After such a blissful second year and feeling quite accomplished, she transitions to eighth grade-little did she know, it was the calm before the storm. There were so many rumors and negativity that she began to question her teaching. Thus begins her career as a Master Student. With her technology course, she learned how to keep this group of students interested. She adds Pear Deck, VideoANT, Flipgrid, LinoIt, hypothes.is, Popplet, and Plickers to her repertoire! It makes teaching easier. -
2018 (Release)
After a crazy teaching year but a very successful school year, she came in ready to play! Very little new technology was added, but being able focus on programs that will maximize her students learning, she was able to release the students to individually use programs such as Pear Deck, myOn, ReadWorks, Microsoft Classrooms, and Prodigy. This has allowed for her to be in the role of a facilitator and allow students to maximize their own learning. -

Technological Advances (Back to Square 1-1000)
The young educator quickly realized that although technology became a "thing" in her era, technology develops FAST!!! She was introduced to new models such as TPAK and ADDIE. She also learned about- but still has not mastered, PearDeck, NearPod, TimeToast, AdobeSpark, Wix.com, Screencastify, and OBS Studio. As she felt she was drowning in the endless possibilities, but right as she gasped for her last breath, she realized all she had to do was stand up and BREATHE! Technology is the life vest.
