The United States officially desideds that it will remain nutrual in the event of another European war.

Rhineland

Mar 7, 1936

Hitler invades the Rhineland or DMZ between Germany and France. The Rhineland was established after WWI.

Cash and Carry Policy

Jan 1, 1937

"Anschluss"

Mar 15, 1938

Hitler declares "Anschluss" as a reason to unite Austria and Germany. The reason being that the vast majority of Austrians spoke German and where ethnically German.

Moving into Sudetenland

Sep 30, 1938

Hitler gained the Sudentlan as a means of keeping peace in Europe. This contained most of the Czechoslovakian deffenses and military bases.

Nazi - Soviet Nonagression Pact

Aug 23, 1939

Hitler meets with the Stalin and agrees to a nonagression pact, which will allow for Hitler to start his invasion with out having to fight on the russian front, and allows Stalin to build up his military.

Invasion of Poland

Hitler moves his troops in to Germant causing the official start of WWII.

Air Raids beguin on Great Britian

This was the first of nearly a years worth of Air raids done by Nazi Germany against Great Britian.

Japan attacks Pearl Harbor causes the U.S. to enter WWII.

First Attack by teh U.S. on the Japanesse Homeland.

The Battle of Midway

This was a turing point for the Uited States in teh Pacific Theature and key battle to assure success on the Pacific front.

End of the Battle of Staligrad

Important because he U.S.S.R. begans to strike back at Germany.

This was the last major German offensive, stopped by the Allied forces.

The beguining of the Battle of Berlin

This was when Allied forces had began to breach Berlin, and the Nazi party was on the brink of surrendering.

Adolf Hitler Commits Suicide

Hitler Kills himself in teh bunker after his wife kills herself and he shoots his dog. This was the unofficail end to the Nazi party.

This marks the offical end to the Nazi war front, however various groups and members kept fight.
