Stalin Dies in Moscow, Russia
In January of 1953, Stalin had his first stroke, losing consciousness. On March 1, he suffered a brain hemorrhage, again losing consciousness and suffered paralysis in his right arm and leg. On March 4, he suffered his second seizure, which disturbed his heart and respiratory organs. Joseph Stalin died of a brain hemorrhage at 9:50 PM on March 5, 1953. He was 73 years old.
