Jonas Salk graduated from Townsend Harris High School at fifteen years old. Salk was a very gifted student; this is why he graduated at a young age from Townsend Harris High School, a school for gifted students. Salk's graduation date from high school is unidentified, but I estimate he graduated around June 10, 1929. -

Jonas Salk moved to the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine on a date close to September 26, 1947. He worked as an associate research profesor and director of the Virus Research Laboratory. Moving to the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine was Jonas's first opportunity to work independently; Salk always desired to work by himself. -
Salk Transorms Facilities
