With the size and control that Standard Oil had they were able to make good deals with railroads to ship his goods. With the time of Rockefeller making deals with railroads he came up with his own way to ship his goods. He began investing in pipelines and terminals to ship his goods. Making Standard Oil even more powerful than before.

    Rockefeller died on May 23rd, 1937 in his winter home called The Casements in Ormond Beach, Florida United States. He died in his sleep from sclerotic myocarditis. He was buried at Lake View Cemetery in Cleveland, Ohio. He was hoping to live to the age of 100 before he died, he died two years and a month before he reached his goal.
