11th Amendment
John Adams created the 11th amendment to our U.S. constitution. It stated that federal courts shall not have jurisdiction over a lawsuit by any citizen, or citizen from a foreign state. -
Alien and Sedition Acts
Makes it harder for new immigrants to vote. Also can now deport foreigners. This caused many people to grow angry with John Adams. -
Sedition Act
Adams and congress passed an act that stated if you were to talk horribly or falsely on congress, the president or the government you could be fined or imprisoned. -
Library of congress
President Adams calls and creates the Nations first Library of congress. It is the official library that serves the U.S. congress.
