April 3rd, 1700, Bach and his schoolfriend, Georg Erdmann, were enrolled in a prestigious school, called St. Michael's, in Luneburg.
1703, shortly after graduating from school, he turned down the offer of organist at Sangerhausen, and later was appointed court musician at Weimar in the chapel of duke. -

Franz Joseph Hayden
Joseph Haydn was born in a small town in Austria, called Rohrau. His father was Matthias Haydn, and his mother was Maria Koller. At the young age of six, he was sent away to live with a relative to practice music. The relative's family name was Frankh. There, he quickly learned how to play harpsichord, violon, and he sang treble parts in church choir. He got hired at a larger company owned by a baron, and soon got ill and retired and passed away. -

Mozart was born in 1759, in Austria. His father was the violinist Leopold Mozart (y 1719-87). He and his sister were child prodigies, he started composing and preforming at the young age of 5. His mother died in y1778 when he was 19. -

His family toured through the main musical centers of western Europe, most cities they went to Mozart and his sister preformed (y1766). In his early maturity he traveled a lot to Paris and Italy. he traveled to Vienna which he called "the land of the piano, while he was there he was very fruitful and successful.
His financial state had low times, but it was almost always steady until he died from rheumatic inflammatory fever. (y1791) -

Born in y1770, Germany.
Widely regarded as the greatest composer who ever lived. Son of Johann and Maria Magdalena van Beethoven. Due to financial instability and his father being an alcoholic , the left school at the age of 11. In his Adolescence he attracted mild attention, but it was not till y1783, did he get a music based job. He lived a steady lifestyle of producing and preforming after, and died of cirrhosis, at the age of 57. -

French born y1890, son of Nicholas Chopin (employed as a tutor). later, by the age of six he was learning piano, taught by Zywny (61yo) he preformed in the presence of Russian Tsar Alexander the first. He became a child prodigy. Along with that he made his own unique style of piano unlike What ha was taught in his lessons. He only made piano pieces all his life, but there were a wide range of styles of piano in his magnificent works. He died from tuberculosis, at the age of 39. -

Impulsive and self willed Wagner taught himself piano.
Attracted to the student life he enrolled himself into Leipzig university. Although he had not completed preparatory school which caused a little trouble. The year he left that university, he composed His first opera. -

Son of Jakob Brahms. Was sent away at age 7, to study piano with FW Cosell. 10 He was sent by Cosell to Eduard Marxersen. He preformed at inns and docks to earn a little money. In 1853 (yo.20) he met joseph Joachim who recommended him to Robert Schumann. Wagner praised Brahms and it displeased Liszt. -

A lot of things went wrong in his life, more then one might expect from someone so famous. In the year 1843 he was banned from presenting his work or preforming until 1853, 15 years later. He died from Myocardial infarction at the age of 70, in 1883. -

He made his first recorded attempt at composing when he was 4, which he wrote with his younger sister (Alexandra, y1812-1854). When he got older his parents signed him up to study civil service because not available at Russian institutions at the time.

Brahms fell in love with Clara Schumann but they remained friends, while Brahms was helping her care for family. Between 1857~1860 Brahms taught piano, at Dortmund and Göttingen. He appeared in concert (y1897) after that he died of cancer. -

Starting 1876 a Widow called Nadezhda von merk, who was a great admirer of his work, gave him monthly allowance, for 14 years.
Year 1885, he settled into a country house near Kiln, and settled into daily routine of reading walking in the woods composing in mornings and afternoons, and playing piano with friends in the evenings.
