    Joan of Arc is born as Jeanette d' Arc on January 6, 1412 in Domremy, France. Joan of Arc came to be the savior of France when she breaks the siege in Orleans and made the British retreat.
    She will later be recognized as a symbol of unity for the French people.

    Filipo Brunelleschi works on the Duomo in Florence, Italy. The Duomo is one of Italy's most visited and admired buildings. Filipo Brunelleschi built the missing part for the church, the cieling. He built a dome 180 feet from the ground, inexpensively and without lifting mechanismsm. The duomo in Florence became the most majestic building for this time period.

    James I, king of of Scotland is released by the British. When he was a kid, he was kidnapped by the British. The Scottish could not pay the ransom for James, and it's only when the Duke of Albany died that they payed the full price and James returned to Scotland. People did not agree with his ascending to the throne so people rebelled. James I tried escaping but was caught and killed

    Joan of Arc is brought against a court
    After Joan of Arc was captured by the English, she was brought against a court and tried for heresy, witchcraft and for dressing like a man.
    The Church was outraged when she told them that the voices came from God himself. She was found guilty and would later be executed.

    Joan of Arc is burned at the stake
    After being imprisoned for a year, Joan of Arc, 19 years old, was executed by being burned at the stake in Rouen, France. She recieved no aid from the king or soldiers.
    Later for her heroism, Joan is canonized in 1920 known as Saint Joan of Arc or The Maid of Orleans.
