When I was in the 8th grade, I participated in my middle school Track Meet. Both of my parents are runners, but they never pushed us to run. Some how, I won the 800 meter run and learned that I actually enjoy running. -
High School Soccer Camp
I participated in the high school summer soccer camp and learned that I was not good enough to make the team. I realized that I would not get much playing time, so instead I joined the cross country and track team after my success in the Middle School Track meet. This started my career as a runner. -
Graduated High School
During High School, I hung out with very smart friends. My mom always says that because they were taking Honors and AP classes, I had to take them too (even if I wasnt as smart as them). This pushed me to work very hard and get a good GPA. I also had great running success in highschool and was recruited to run in college. I took three official visits and decided to run at Penn State University in Pennsylvania. -
