Jennie Lynn Finch was born in La Mirada, California. Who would have thought playing catch with your dad could lead to such a big oppurtunity? Obviously Jennie never thought to give up on her dreams as long as she strived for it from being a member of a national championship team at age 12 to an Olympic Gold Medalist in the Athens Olympics in 2004( "Jennie Finch"). -
Team USA and The Olympics
Starting on Team USA in 1998 Finch was still in college and continued that path for 12 years.In the 12 year time span she was selected to be on the 2004 USA Olympic Softball Team taking home the Gold and again in 2008 for a Silver medal at the Beijing games.In 2009 she earned the title of USA Softball Player of the Year. -
Arizona Wildcats
Signing to The University of Arizona Finch was the number one pick for high school recruits (Jump Magazine).Not only is she an outstanding player she helper her team go to the NCAA Womens College World Series in 1999,but it was just the start for Finch. Just two years later Finch helped lead her team to win the College World Series with Most Outstanding Player under her belt. She ended her college career with Pac-10s Pitcher of the Year, and top 3 finalist for USA's collegaite player as well. -
Married with Children
Married on January 15, 2005 to minor league pitcher Casey Daigle. Just a little over a year later they introduced Ace Shane Daigle on May 6, 2006 along with his little brother Diesel Dean on July 19, 2011 and their little sister Paisley Faye on January 12, 2013. -
Chicago Bandits
Get in the Game with Jennie FinchOnly 3 years after graduating did FInch land a spot on Chicagos softball team The Bandits. She continued with this team for 5 years while clenching the title of Co-Pitcher of the year in 2005, being a member of the All Star Team, and landing a spot on the USA team in 2009.
