Jean was born on June 20th, 1899 in Béziers, France. -

In the yar 1936 Moulin had become the youngest French Prefect a the young age of 37. -
Moulin enlists
In the year of 1939 Moulin was enlisted in the French Air Force. He was assigned to the 117 Air Force Battalion in Paris. -

Moulin attempts suicide
On June 17th, 1942 Moulin attempted suicide by slitting his throat with a piece of glass because he was accused by a Nazi of being a communist. Which is why he was always pictured with a scarf on. -
Moulin earns his role in the resistance
In October 1941, Moulin made a report that included activities, plans and requirements of the Groups formed in France which impressed De Gualle and he was appointed the leader of the French resistance. -
U.S joins WW2
After the attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7th, 1941 the U.S declares war against the Japanese. -

On January 1st, 1942 Jean Moulin parachuted into France in an effort to coordinate and unify resistance groups. -

On 27 May 1943, after months of work, Jean Moulin persuaded several resistance groups to collab into the CNR, with Moulin becoming the first chairman of the alliance. -
The betrayal of Moulin
On June 21st of 1943 Rene Hardy betrayed Moulin and told an SS leader of the Nazis and Moulin was later arrested at his homestead. -
The death of Moulin
On July 8, 1943 Jean was recently captured and was on a train to Germany and died from injuries from the Germans had inflicted on him. -
Klaus Barbie
Klaus Barbie was known as the "Butcher of Lyon" for having personally tortured French prisoners of the Gestapo while stationed in Lyon, France. He was also the man to torture Moulin and killed him on July 8th of 1943 -
D-Day at Normandy
On June 6, 1944 the Allied Forces of Britain, America, Canada, and France attacked German forces on the beaches of Normandy, France. With a force of over 150,000 soldiers, the Germans lost control of the territory which lead to the turning point of the war. -
Resistance continues despite loss of Moulin
On August, 16th of 1944 resistance fighters captured three German posts along the Swiss border. -
Hitler commits suicide
On May the 7th of 1945 Hitler commits suicide beacuse he had no where to run. -
U.S crushes Japan
On August 6, 1945 an American B-29 bomber dropped the world's first deployed atomic bomb over Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
