    250 to 538 AD. It is the earliest time located in Japan. the first south east Asian tribes settled on the island of Kyushu. The Yamato clan established the first major colony (state) and named it Nara, located on the island Honshu.

    The Japanese Dynasty started to separate from its Chinese counterpart by making warrior like warriors who travelled around the countryside of japan fighting off rebels and other leaders in the ancient days of Japan. You would know them as being called the Samurai. They were kind of like the ancient Japanese Batman.

    this period’s power was completely made up by Emperors and their family and Relatives. In this Era, the capital of Japan was moved to Heian-kyo (now known as Kyoto). This time saw the great growth of Samurai.

    this era was mostly ruled by Kamakura shoguns who were a Japanese feudal government ruled by many Military Generals.

    Tokugawa Shoguns. The capital of Tokyo was finally moved to Edo (now known as Tokyo) and has stayed there ever since. The country saw complete isolation under the Shogunate governing system.
