Sadako Sasaki
Sadako was a Japanese girl living in Hiroshima when the atomic bomb was dropped on Japan In 1955, at age 11, Sadako was diagnosed with leukemia,the time she was in the red cross hospital her family and friends gave her origami paper to fold paper cranes because it was a myth if you fold 1000 paper cranes you get better Sadako died on October 25, 1955, she was 12 years old and had folded over 1300 paper cranes.The Hiroshima Peace Memorial has a statue of Sadako holding a golden crane. -
Why they bombed
the Americans bombed japan because they made the bomb originally to bomb nazi germany but the german surrendered.Truman had tasked a committee of advisers, chaired by Secretary of War Henry Stimson, to deliberate whether to use the atomic bomb on Japan, and thus they did what they said,they claimed that this was the end of world war II. -

Black rain
About 30 minutes after the explosion, a heavy rain began falling in areas to the northwest of the city. This “black rain” was full of dirt, dust, soot and highly radioactive particles that were sucked up into the air at the time of the explosion.Radio stations went off the air, and the main line telegraph had stopped working just north of Hiroshima. -

at 8:16 am Japanese time an American b-29 bomber was above Hiroshima and released the fat boy the 3 days later another bomb was released above Nagasaki (also in japan.)
