The Battle of Qingshanli
The army of Japan fought with the armed forces of Korea over the course of 6 days. This battle was fought to settle the Hun-ch'un massacre.
During this time period there was a bandit leader named Ch'ang-chiang-hao. He had been bribed by the Japanese army to attack Hun-ch'un.

The Amakasu Incident
Directly after the Great Kanto earthquake, Japanese officials were in fear that anarchists were going to topple the government. Japan's way of stopping this was top send police after a men named Osugi Sakae, Ito Noe, and the nephew of Osugi. A short time after their arrests, they were to be beaten to be beaten to death and their bodies were disposed of in a well.

The General Election of 1924
During 1924, the Seiyuhonto and Seiyukai came together add two political parties to form the government. The was the first time that this has ever happened during an election. This had amazed many and was an interesting move on both parts.

The Taisho Period
From July 30th, 1912 to the Christmas of 1926, there was a man named Emperor Taisho. During his rule, Japan sent Twenty-One Demands to China, Japan launched a Siberian expedition, a man named Hara was assassinated (Takahashi Korekiyo took over his spot as prime minister), and the Great Kanto earthquake happened.

The Jinan Incident
During the year of 1928, there was a large conflict between the army of Japan and some Chinese warlords. The conflict was over Kuomintang's army in Jinan. Eventually things got way out of hand and this led to the death of 6,123 people and even more wounded. This left both nations wondering why it had come to this.

The Defense of Harbin
From January 25th to February 4th of 1932 there was a large defense that was up at Harbin. This happened during the Second Sino-Japanese War. One of the reasons the Defense of Harbin occurred was because of the Invasion of Manchuria. The Muroto Typhoon of 1934
On September 1st, there was a devastating typhoon that took place at Cape Muroto in Japan at approximately 5 o'clock in the morning. Later on it struck in between Kobe and Osaka. Because of this typhoon, it caused the death of 2,702 people. Not only that but there were 14,994 that were wounded during this and around 334 went missing.

The February 26th Incident
On February 26th, 1936 in Japan there was 1400 troops led by a couple of young army officers to the Prime Minister's Home. They had stormed his house and killed him and a few others in this raid. After a long battle in court, 19 of these officers were to be executed, and another 40 to be imprisoned.

Taihoku Air Strike
During the month of January in 1938 there was an air raid that was done by the Chinese military. They struck the capital of Taiwan which was under control of the Empire of Japan at the time. This had been the very first time Japan's territory was hit during World War II.
