A Visit to Africa
A Family Friend invites Jane to go to Africa, and while she was there, Jane´s friends tried to convince her to contact a famous paleontologist, Louis Leakey. Later, Leakey helped her getting a PhD from the university of Cambridge. -

Getting used to the chimps
It took 2 years for Jane to get used to the chimps´ way of life. She passed these 2 years taking notes and imitating the chimps´s moves, to interact with them in the future. One of the very important observations taken by Jane is that chimps are omnivorous, and not vegeterian. -
Jane Begins the Journey
Jane started to set up the camp at Gombe Stream National Park in Tanzania.
