The story begins with a 10 years old Jane Eyre living with her aunt, Mrs Reed, and her three cousins, Eliza, John and Georgiana. She lived with them because both her parents were dead. -
Lowood School
Lowood was the school where Jane went. It was very large, cold and forbidding. She lived there until she was eighteen. -
Thornfield Hall
In this house Jane worked as a governess for the family and a teacher for the little Adèle, a french girl. Thornfield Hall is property of Mr Rochester. -
Mr Rochester Proposes
After a year at Thornfield Hall, Jane Eyre and Mr Rochester fell in love with each other and the man decided to marry her, but the wedding will never be completed. -
New Friends
The morning after the wedding, Jane wanted to travel as far away from Thornfield as she could, so she took a journey and she arrived at a place where there were no towns or villages, but she found a house where she was welcome by two girls and a boy. -
Return To Thornfield
After so much suffering, Jane took a choice and wanted to return at Thornfield but her beautiful home was in ruins. She asked a man to tell her what had happened and he told her that in the last autumn, the house burnt down in the middle of the night, but luckily Mr Rochester was alive! She found him, and, in tears, he proposed to her a second time.
