I started playing the piano at a very young age. It led to a strong love of music that has stayed with me to this day.
-
As I got older, exposure to alternative and indie music changed my life. As young as fifth grade, everywhere I went, I had my CD player keeping me company.
-
As a sophmore in highschool, I decided I wanted to become a Record Producer.

After graduating high school, I opted for a more practical career path and began at UWM as a kinesiology major.
-
After a year and a half of suffering through anatomy and physiology courses, I decided to leave UWM and go to school for what I was passionate about. In January of 2009, I moved to Madison and went to Madison Media Institute for a degree in Recording and Sound Engineering.
-
A year and a half later, I graduated with an associates degree. I then went on to work as an intern at a small recording studio.

After working in the industry for a while, I decided it wasn't for me and needed a change of pace. I then realized that I could combine my love of writing and my love of music by becoming a journalist. I began classes at UWM the next month.
