Chuck Berry
In the 50’s, Charles Anderson born on October 18, 1926 is a guitarist, singer, and songwriter. One of his top songs was Johnny B. Goode in 1958 that made the top of the charts. He was one of the first musicians to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame. Many people called him Chuck Berry as his nickname. He also guest starred on "The Guy Mitchell Show" on ABC. He sang his hit song "Rock and Roll Music". Chuck Berry still makes hit songs today and is a great musician. -
The Coasters
The original members of the Coasters were Carl Gardner, Billy Guy, Bobby Nunn, Leon Hughes, and guitarist Adolph Jacobs. The Coasters were a doo-wop band that formed in 1955. There song "Yakety Yak" topped the R&B chart. In 1987, the Coasters became the first group inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The Coasters also joined the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 1999. The Coasters formed in 1955 and are still together today. -
