    Andrew Jackson was born on March 15th, 1767 in Waxhaws which is in the middle of South Carolina and North Carolina. His parents were Elizabeth and Theodore Jackson. He had two brothers, Hugh and Robert Jackson.

Jackson hurried over to New Orleans with his 4,500 soldiers and killed 2,000 soldiers on the British side while only eight were killed on the U.S. side. That was also the last armed engagement with the United States and Britan.
