Lilly Bloom´s abusive father is being buried. Lilly is supposed to hold a speech, but no words come out. She stands on the alter speechless. -
The rooftop
After Lilly´s fathers funeral she goes to a rooftop in Boston to clear her head. There she meets Ryle Kincaid. They have a lot in common and good chemistry but very different aims when it comes to relationships. -
Brother and sister
During the opening process Lilly sprains her ankle. Alyssa calls her nuroseuergon brother who is on a bar right around the corner. When he comes Lilly gets shoock when she sees a familiar face. Ryle. -
The flower shop
Lilly has always had a dream about opening a flower shop, and now she is. On the opening day she meets a girl named Allysa who is eager to work in her shop. She hires her, and they start the process of setting up the shop. -
Tension
After Ryle and Lilly meet again they keep on bumping into each other. The tension grows but they try to ignore the attraction because of their different points of views when it comes to relationships. -
The journal
To distract herself from Ryle, Lilly starts reading her old series of journals. She focuses primarily on the ones where she writes about Atlas. An earlier love of her who was homeless. They were very close and when he moved to his uncle in Boston she was heartbroken. -
Abuse
Ryle and Lilly decide trying out a relationship. It works well until Ryle one day abuses Lilly during a heated argument. He told Lilly he never would do something like this but couldn´t controll it. -
Wedding
Despite Ryle´s abbusive actions they deside to get married. The wedding took place in Vegas. -
The restaurant
Ryle, Lilly´s mother and Lilly eat at a restaurant in Boston. While they are eating the owner of the new restaurant comes to their table. Thats when Lilly realises the owner is Atlas. She panics and says she has to go to the bathroom. -
Seeing Atlas again
While going out of the bathroom she is stopped by Atlas who asks her about her bruises. He shows he is worried and negative to the relationship, Lilly gets mad and walks away. -
The hospital
Atlas takes Lilly to the hospital and there they find out that Lilly is pregnant. She stays at Atlas´ house while she heals and tries to determine what the next step will be. -
The attack
Ryle is mad and finds Lilly´s old journals and reads them. In anger he rapes Lilly. In panic she calls Atlas and he comes to help her. -
Old lovers
Because of Atlas and Lilly´s past there is still some tension and Atlas wants to be in a relationship again with her. He wants her to come back to him if she is ever in a position where she is able to fall in love again. -
Meant to be
About a year after her divorce from Ryle, Lily meets up with Atlas on the street. They decide on the spur of the moment to start a relationship. -
Emotional damaged
Lily tells Ryle that she wants to wait until the baby is born to decide the future of their relationship. She believes she is too emotional to make the right decision while she is still pregnant. Just moments after Lily gives birth, she tells Ryle she wants a divorce. -
The phone number
At the restaurant Atlas gave his phone number to Lilly and was told to call him if Ryle ever hurt her again. Ryle found his phone number on Lilly´s phone and suspected that Lilly was cheating on him.
