Gods promise to Abraham
Abraham was from Ur, but than one day God came to Abraham and told him to count the stars and that's how many blessings he will have. He told him that he would be a king of nations also. Abraham married Sarah and has a miracle child named Issac. -

Joseph
Joseph was one of the 12 sons of Jacob and he was the most loved by his father. His other brothers did not like that and they took him and threw him into a pit. Than a guy took him to Egypt than he was put in jail. But than he told pharaoh that there would be a great famine and told him stories. Then pharaoh believed him and he was put into second in command of Egypt. -

The ten plagues in Egypt
During when Israel was enslaved in Egypt and Moses was trying to free them, God wanted Pharaoh to see his power so He summoned 10 great plagues on Egypt. Egypt was devastated by these plagues. These plagues led up to the crossing of the Red Sea. -

The Passover
On the day that the 10th plague would happen, (death of every firstborn) in order for the Israelites children not to die, the killed a lam and smeared its blood on the door frame, then they ate the lam. When the Angel of Death was in Egypt it passed over the door frames that had the lam blood on it. The families that did not put the lam blood on the the door frame, there firstborn child would die. -

Parting of the Red Sea
When Moses said that the Israelites would leave to worship God, God hardened pharaohs heart and he went after them. When the Israelites had nowhere to go God parted the Red Sea for them and they crossed it, then when the Egyptians tried going through, they got crushed by water. This would lead up to wandering for 40 years. -

The Ten Commandments
Moses took the Israelites to Mount Sinai and spoke the Ten Commandments to them that God has sent to him to speak. He told them to follow them and don't break them. The Ten Commandments are, you shall not have any Gods besides me, you shall not make idols, you shall not take the LORD you God in vain, remember the Sabbath day and keep it holy, honor your father and mother, you shall not murder, you shall not commit adultery, you shall not steal, you shall not bear false witness, and don't covet. -

Wandering in the Wilderness
When the Israelites crossed the Red Sea they wondered on the outskirts of Israel. They had many complaints about things like food and water. They wandered for 40 years. They refused to enter the promised land because there was armies there. -

They settle in Canaan
After the 40 years of wandering in the wilderness. God guides them to Canaan and helps them rule it. They had no military power, only God. To conquer Jericho they walked around the walls and they fell. -

Gideon
Gideon was a ruler of the Israelites that won a decisive victory over the Midianites. He was also a judge and phophet. This will lead up to Samson. -

Samson
Samson was gifted super strength from God and killed a whole Philistine army with a donkey jawbone. His story was during the book of Judges. He killed a lion on his way to his wedding also. He finally died because someone cut his long hair and then his powers were gone.
