Yasir Arafat, the chairman of the of the Palestine Liberation Organization, declaimed the establishment of independence Palestine. Therefore Palestine would now be it's own state. -
Israel Invades much of the West Bank
On the date of March 29th 2002, Israel's Operation Defensive Shield begins. During this, Israeli Defence Force seized most of the buildings and headquarters in the West Bank.
