    The Israeli’s were attacked on Yom Kippur which is one of the holiest days on the Jewish calendar. Egypt lost the Sinai Peninsula and Gaza Strip, Jordan lost the West Bank and East Jerusalem, and Syria lost the Golan Heights to Israel. It ended October 25, 1973.
