Leaves home to go to Ellis Island
My 18th birthday, i ran away from home to leave to go to Ellis island. I told nobody. A few hours after i left i got on the ferry to go and was hoping for a better life. -
Get a job-die
When i got off the ship i was greeted by a man named William Tweed but i ignored him because people kept calling him "Boss Tweed" i eventually got a job in a sweatshop from 1873-1875 and in 1892 i died from falling off a sky scraper -
Reaches Ellis Island
On March 4th 1872 we reached Ellis island. i was in awe, it was a huge island with many people and trees. there was a larger building. In the corner of my eye i notice a giant statue of a woman it was just amazing
