    Brigids Day.
    On february first, yes it is the beginning of the month, but it is also the beginning of spring for the irish. They make Brigid's crosses and celebrates. The crosses resembles little crafts called god eyes. The story behind the crosses are Many rituals are associated with the making of the crosses.     National Hurling League.
    It went to May 1st. Hurling, one of the fastest games on 2 feet, hurling is one of the famous gaelic games, founded in ireland. Hurling has many more than just Ireland playing now. Irish immigration has caused the game of hurling to spread as well! Google, Google Images, Wikipedia, Gaa.ie
  • St Patricks Day.

    St Patricks Day.
    They celebrate this religious holiday, which also is the national holiday of Ireland, with parades and festivals. They are thanking St Patrick for banishing snakes and teaching them about the shamrock. The shamrock (The Three Leafed Clover) is showing the three divines in one god.     On St Stephens day, they make wrens out of assorted materials. Being right after christmas oddly it has nothing to do with Christianity. There is a poem about it, which is too long to put on.
