  • Nanking Massacre

    In the late 1937, over a time of six weeks, Japanese army forces brutally murdere hundreds of thousands of people. Those people include soldiers and civilians in the Chinese city o Nanking. The horrific events are known as the Nanking Massacre rape or the rape of Nanking, 20,000 to 80,000 women were sexually assaulted.
  • Pearl Harbor Bombing

    Japanese planes attacked the US Naval Base at Pearl Harbor. The bombing killed more than 2300 Americans, it also completely destroyed the U.S.S Arizona. The attack sank a total of twelve ships and damaged nine others.

Despite cries from the governor to "hold fast for King and Empire," no further resistance was possible by the dwindling garrison forces.

They hen forced more than 70,000 captured soldiers to march more than 60 miles north to capture US army base. The soliders starved as they went on their jobs and i they fell or complained about the brutal weather they were executed.

    On this day, Douglas MAcArthur and the American 6th Army land on the Lingayen Gulf of Luzon, another step in the culture of the Pilippine Islands from the Japanese.

    The US forces dropped the bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. That killed more than 100,000 people and exposing tens of thousands more to deadly radiation. On that same day the Us B-29 plane Enola Gay dropped a 9,700 pound uranium bomb on the Japanese city of HIroshima. That destroyed 90% of the city and killed 70,000 to 80,000 people instantly.
