  • Web Browsers

    Invented by Tim Berners-Lee, it is an application software for accessing the World Wide Web. These web browsers are used on a range of devices like mobile phones, desktops, laptops, etc.
  • Flash based SSDs

    The first commercial flash-based SSD was shipped by SanDisk. A solid-state drive (SSD) is a solid-state storage device that uses integrated circuit assemblies to store data persistently, typically using flash memory, and functioning as secondary storage in the hierarchy of computer storage.
  • GPS

    The GPS project was started by the U.S. Department of Defense in 1973 and the full constellation of 24 satellites became operational in 1993. It is a radio navigation system used in land, sea, and air to determine the exact location, time and velocity irrespective of weather conditions
  • DVD

    The DVD is not a contribution of any individual, but of many people and many companies. The DVD (common abbreviation for Digital Video Disc or Digital Versatile Disc) is a digital optical disc data storage format invented and developed in 1995 and released in late 1996.
  • Camera Phone

    The first commercial camera phone was the Kyocera Visual Phone VP-210, released in Japan in May 1999. It was called a "mobile videophone" at the time, and had a 110,000-pixel front-facing camera.
