The sewing machine was also another invention that helped produce more clothing in a faster way. It also provided more jobs in factories for women. -
Type writer
When the idea of the type writer failed in the 1700s, in 1867, the type writer was reestablished and it changed the way people wrote. Spreading letters or publishing books and newspaper, was a much faster and easier way. These typed papers were spread throughout the colonies. -
Telephone
Alexander Graham Bell constructed, or invented, the first working telephone. with the telephone, colonists were able to communicate faster and easier. Communication was possible from state to state. -
Electric Iron
Electric iron was invented by Henry Seeley. It helped a lot of stay at home moms back in the 1880s. It was easier for the women to do their chores, like ironing the clothing.
