    While in New York Sameul Morse invented the telegraph, which sent electrical signals over wires which was then transmitted into language. Although it is outdated, it had positive economic impact. The messages were sent across both continents and oceans quickly leading to better communication.

    The Morse code was created by Sameul Morse in New York. Although it is not used today, the code of dots that was used to transmit complex meesages allowed long distance communication. This led to other inventions and technology.
