    The Treaty of Versailles was signed outside of Paris on june 28th 1919. The Treaty had meant, territory losses for Germany, military disarmament and restrictions, Germany had to take the responsibility for WW1 and pay reparations.

    The main goal of The League of Nations was to negotiate agreements between nations of conflict as opposed to going to war. The League of Nations later became known as the United Nations. The League was comprised of 42 nations, but Germany wasn't allowed to join, and the United States had refused to join.
