    It was introduced to the public and demonstrated at the International Computer Communication Conference. It evolved into the what we now know as the Internet.

    Ray Tomlinson sent the first email message and introduced the @ symbol as an electronic locator symbol

  • Internet was first mentioned

    The term internet was first used in a document. People started using and thinking of the internet not just for education, but for social use.
