The U.S. was on a mission and they were called Search and Destroy missions, in these they would kill everything and anything they thought to help the North in the war well a group of men went into a little town killing innocent women children and men. Until one of the chopper men poined at his own men and told them to stop before he fired and they did. This changed the view on the war by th public a lot! -
Vietnamization
The role in the war on Vietnam was coming to a halt but we didnt want to just leave the South there undefended, so before we left we tried to train them as much as we could before we finally took the last of the U.S. ground troop out of Vietnam -
26th amendment ratified
the amendment ws passed because kids just turning 18 were sent into war and couldnt even vote on who was sending them, so they finally passed this amendment allowing 18 year olds and up to vote. -

After vietnamization and the thought that South Vietnam could defend itself we finally packed up our last ground troops and we were finally out of Vietnam -
The fall of Saigon to the North Vietnamese
After all the U.S. troops left we made an agreement with the North and thought that it was over but the agreement kept North Vietnemese troops in South Vietnam, eventually the South was over run and there capital Saigon finally fell and the North finally had victory -
