Holocaust
the holocaust was a mass genocide of the jewish race from 1933 - 1945. this was all directed by Hitler and his Nazi race. this went on for some time before anyone knew about it. of course there were some rumors floating around but no one believed them. This was one of the MAJOR reasons for WWII -
Pearl Harbor
suprise attack from Japan on Pearl Harbor in Hawaii. this was devastating. many of our men died and we were angry. this attack is initially what got us involved in WWII -
V-E Day
This day was "victory in Europe Day". this marked the day the Nazis armed forces surrendered. -
Hiroshima
on this day, American dropped an atomic bomb on Hiroshima, Japan. creating mass destruction, this was payback for Pearl Harbor. it took years for them to recover from such aftermath. -
The War Begins
North Korea launches a full scale attack against South Korea. North Korean infantry and tanks cross the 38th Parallel and meet little resistance. This is the start of the Korean War. -
Bye Bye
The South Korean capital of Seoul is captured by North Korean troops. -

The Battle of Inchon; General Douglas MacArthur leads an amphibious assault behind enemy lines. -
Pukchin
More than 100,000 Chinese soldiers secretly arrive in North Korea through the Yalu River. They handily defeat the South Korean army at Pukchin. -
