The 90's produced many new versions of the telephone including the cordless phone, IBM Simon (credited as the "first smartphone") and the Noia8210 wireless cellphone. All of these new upgrades to the phones allowed the invention of the smartphone in future years and allowed people to have smaller devices and communicate in other locations than their home or work. -

The Sharp JHO4 was the first camera phone created in 2000. The Blackberry 7210 had the first color screen created by Mike Lazaridis. The T-Mobile G1 was the first mobile phone to use Google's android operating system. -

The most desired version of the phone came in 2007 when Apple produced the iPhone which literally changed how the world was. The many versions of the iPhone had a profound effect on consumers because it allowed them a variety and showed them improvements so they knew this type would be reliable and wouldn't break down all the time. This phone created by Lee Byung-chul featured the same things as most iPhone's did but established competition for the Apple company so they weren't operating as a monopoly. This gave consumers different options on brand and the styles of the phone. Today, Samsung, Android, and Apple are the biggest brands in mobile phones -
iPhone X
This was created by Apple and costs nearly 1000 dollars. It featured a no button home screen and had qualities like voice or facial recognition and set the standards on new technology in the future.
