Maria Montessori
Maria Montessori started a school that allowed children to be all hands on instead of it being direct instruction. She made it so the teachers would not directly help the students with their needs but let them do it themselves; they just have to direct the learning and observe. Her schools have made it so students are independent and that is because they get to experience things firsthand. http://bit.ly/2cc9VlZ
