Cotton gin invented
Eli Whitney invented the cotton gin so the seeds of cotton would be sorted and separated in a much shorter time. This invention allowed for cotton and cotton seeds to be sroted much more efficiently. Before this invention, the seeds were manually picked out of the cotton. This process took a long time before the cotton gin was invented. -
Battery invented
Alessandro Volta invented the battery in which allowed electricity to be stored for peroids of time. The battery had limited life in that it could only store a certain amount of energy judging on its side. The battery allowed for electricity to be used in places where power lines and power plants could not supply. -
Electric motor invented
The electric motor allowed for things such as indoor machines to be powered with electricity, This was clean and quiet, compared to the steam enigne and the gas or diesel engines. -
Steam boat prepulsion system invented
Robert Fulton invented the paddle wheel for steamboats as a way for them to be propelled through the water. The steam boat allowed for people to cross rivers or travel up rivers to get to other locations along these rivers. -
Telephone invented
Alexander Graham Bell invented the first telephone. The telephone allowed for people to communicate over long distances and quickly. The telephone was a faster way of talking to people than communicating by telegraph. The telephone revolutionized the way that people talk to eachother over distances appart. -
Lightbulb invented
Thomas Edison invented the lightbulb to allow light in dark places with electricity. The lightbulb was just one Thomas Edison's inventions, but the lightbulb was shure to be one of his greatest. The lighbulb allowed for electricity to be turned into light and for the area to lighted from the darkness. -
Automobile invented
Gottlieb Daimler invented the automobile so people could go places much faster and at further distances. The automobile revolutionized the way that people traveled at this time. Most people either walked, or rode horses to and from different locations. The automobile allowed the whole family to ride togeather, and go long distances at a very fast pace. -
Diesel engine invented
Rudolph Diesel invented the diesel engine to allow big, heavy, and industrial machines to move more efficiently. the Diesel engine was more efficient when pulling heavier loads than that of the steam engine or the gas engine. The diesel engine revolutionized work, and the way that work was done. -
Airplane invented
The Wright Brothers, Orville and Wilbur, invented the very first self propelled airplane. The airplane allowed for people to be hauled over land and over seas for long distances and at a fast pace to get to different locations. This revolutionized the way that people traveled over long distances. -
Assembly line invented
Henry Ford invented the assembly line to increase production of larger products. The assembly line also made the product cheaper because there were more of the product, and there were more of one thing to go around for everybody. The assembly line revolutionized the way that products were producted and put togeather.
