    A cotton gin is a mchine that separates cotton from it's seeds and does it a lot faster than man could do. It was invented by Eli Whitney.
  • Battery

    A battery is a container with one or more cells with an electic charge that is used as a power source. It was invted by Alessandro Volta.
  • Steamboat

    Invented by Robert Fulton. It is a boat that is propelled by a steam engine.
  • Morse Code

    Morse Code was invented by Samuel Morse. It is a code where letters are represented by a combination of long and short signals of light and sound.
  • Daguerreotype

    A daguerreotype is a process to make a photograph with iodine-sensiticed silvered plate and mercury vapor. It was invented by Louis Daguerre.
  • Telephone

    The telephone was invted by Alexander Graham Bell. It is used to talk to someone who is at a different location than you over a phone.
  • Incandescent Light Bulb

    This was invented by Thomas Edison. It is a source of light that comes from a blub using electricity.
  • Gas Engine

    A gas engine is a smaller and more lightweight engine than what they did have. It also runs on gas which is a lot more efficient. It was invented by Gottlieb Daimler.
  • Diesel Engine

    The diesel engine was invented by Rudolf Diesel. It is an internal-combustion engine the burns on heavy oil.
