Electric Telegraph

1774

Georges Louis Lesage patented the electric telegraph. Electric Telegraph uses electric signals to send communication via radio or line. This was used as means of communication by the people but it can be only used inside the country.

Type Writer

1829

Invented by W.S Burt in 1829, this was the most important device during those days used by editors in newspapers. This device helped the Industrial Revolution by providing fast information from the reporters to the editors which then later, published to the citizens.

Telegraph

1837

Another version of the telegraph was invented by Samuel Morse. The use of this telegraph is similar to the electric telegraph. This was used for communications back in the days during the Industrial period.

Modern Typewriter

1867

Christopher Scholes was the one who invented the first practical and modern typewriter during the 1867s. It was an improvement of the old typewriter but the function remains similar. It is used by the editors and reporters to spread information to the people within the country.

Telephone

1876

Invented by Alexander Graham Bell, this device allowed the people to communicate with other people living in farther areas. Due to this great invention, communication was made easier for the business men during the Industrial Revolution.

Phonograph

1877

First invented by Thomas Alfa Edison, this tool was used for communication before the time the telephone was invented. People were amazed by how they can hear a dead man's voice who was thought to be gone forever only by this simple tool.
