Incas appear in Andean South America
The Inca rose to power in a power vacuum from the collapse of two earlier tribes, the Tiwanaku (Tiahuanaco) and the Wari (Huari), whose downfall led to an environment of minstates and chiefdoms. These minstates later went on to become the Inca. -

The Incas stop expanding
Leader Manco Capac founds the city of Cuzco in the Cuzco Valley region, and the Inca start to live there, not expanding until 200 years after Cuzco was founded. -

Pachacuti improves the Inca
The Inca's landmass was expanded by leader Pachacuti Inca Yupanqui, who began to conquer surrounding tribes, then reorganized the government into the Tawantinsuyu, then builds a city called Machu Picchu. -

The Smallpox runs rampant.
A large section of the Inca die from Smallpoxbrought by the Spanish, including emperor Huayna Capac over the course of a few years. -

Disintegration of the Inca
The Spanish conquistador Francisco Pizarro seized the Inca during their civil war, and the Inca fought them off until 1572 when they all died.
