Pachucati becomes Sapa Inca
Ruler of the Inca, Viracocha flees when a neighboring city Chanka tried to take over, but Pachucati, one of his sons, stepped in helping the Inca stay in power. The Incas' control over the Cuzco valley grew with the victory. -

Huayna Capac Rules
Huayna Capac becomes Sapa Inca and builds roads, religious temples, and fortresses throughout the empire. -

Inca Civil War
Huayna Capac died along with many others including his heir when European travelers gave them diseases. This ignited a civil war between two of the remaining brothers, Waskar and Atuhaualpa, for control of the Inca empire. -

End of the Inca Empire
Atahualpa just won the civil war making him the leader of the Inca. Then, Francisco Pizzaro and his band of Spanish conquistadors overwhelmed the Inca with horses and guns despite being outnumbered. After, they killed the king, and the empire was no more.
