Treaty of Versailles
The treaty of Versaille was determined by the victors of World war one. It was decided that Germany would give up land to France and Poland. Germany could only have an army of 100,000 men and Germany couldn't have an alliance with Austro-Hungary. -

Japan invades Manchuria
Japan invaded Chinese held Manchuria for the natural resources that new Japanese industries required. The league of nations didn't have the power to punish the Japanese that much. This weakened the view of the league of nations and the league was considered weak by many countries. -
