Instead of trying to falsify a hypothesis it would be shown as did it make progress or detiorte hypothesis.

    In 1986 the first Imre Lakatos award was given from the London School of Economics and Philosophy. The award gives the receipting a total of 10,000 pounds in honor of the untimely death of Imre and the work he did for the science of Philosophy. It is still given to this day.
